At this 1-hour session, we will hear from EMC Member Robert Brouillette, Owner and President of City Welding. With a license to practice Immigration Law in Ontario, Robert was not easily intimidated by the complex processes of immigration and international recruitment.<\/p>\n

City Welding services the industrial, commercial, transportation, logging, and construction industries, with a large facility in the northeast end of Sudbury. Since 2006, Robert has used international recruiting to fill what was fast becoming a serious skilled labour shortage in northern Ontario. Currently, about 40% of their workforce at City Welding are skilled workers from countries across the globe.<\/p>\n

Brouillette estimates that he has recruited more than 30 internationally-trained skilled workers over the years, for his own shop and for other businesses.
