Manufacturing Innovation Summit

Invest Barrie, in partnership with Simcoe County, are excited to present the 2022 Manufacturing Innovation Summit (MIS) with Summit Sponsor BDC. The event will be taking place live and in-person on Wednesday, October 19 at Georgian College’s Advanced Technology Centre.

This year, Invest Barrie and Simcoe County have partnered to bring together the energy of the Manufacturing Innovation Summit with the engaging conversation from the Manufacturing Forum into one regional event.

MIS 2022 is a must-attend, half-day conference for both manufacturers and service providers. The event will bring together industry leaders, executives, investors, and entrepreneurs from the Ontario manufacturing sector to learn firsthand what the future of manufacturing looks like within our region and beyond.

It’s without question that the past few years have been challenging for all sectors and the importance of innovating has never been more relevant. Process improvements, improved supply chain management, and investments in information technology and automation have all been critical to the manufacturing sector.

MIS 2022 will include a breakfast, keynote address, panel discussions, and breakouts facilitated by leaders in the digital transformation and manufacturing industries delivering key insights for manufacturing businesses at all stages of their journey. The event will conclude with a networking lunch.
