In-Market Special Project Fund - Archived

Applications are now open for Year 2 of the In-Market Special Project Fund, with $100,000 available for projects in 2021. The goal of the fund, as in previous years, is to increase support for entrepreneurs across Simcoe County.

At a minimum, one Small Business Enterprise Centre and one CFDC need to be partnered with an organization in their service area for a project to be eligible. The Fund doesn’t support regular, ongoing entrepreneurial support activities – it enables innovative, new approaches and partnerships or enhancements to existing activities.

As outlined in the Terms and Conditions, our office will be organizing a meeting prior to the application deadline where we encourage potential applicants to share ideas openly.  We are all working together to support entrepreneurial activity, and transparency can prevent duplication and encourage collaboration.

Meeting date for potential applicants to share ideas: January 14, 2021, 1:00pm – please contact Adam for link.

Application deadline: January 28, 2021.  Please contact Adam.Kallio@simcoe.ca if you have any questions.
