Due to the COVID-19 crisis, official languages minority communities (OLMCs) have experienced revenue reductions and financial hardship. With Ontario’s economy reopening, businesses need assistance to help rebuild their revenues and support new re-opening expenditures, such as acquiring personal protective equipment (PPE) and re-tooling physical storefronts to adopt social distancing measures.

Today, the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages and Minister responsible for FedDev Ontario, announced a $4.5-million RRRF investment in three not-for-profit organizations to support small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and organizations across southern Ontario.
