Economic Development Corporation North Simcoe (EDCNS) Welcomes Cathryn Love as Director and Announces New Leadership Appointments.
Midland, Ontario, July 16, 2024 – The Economic Development Corporation of North Simcoe (EDCNS) is thrilled to announce several key leadership appointments, signalling a new chapter for economic development and innovation in the region. Cathryn Love has been appointed as the new Director of the Innovation Hub, and Paul Marchildon will take on the role of Chairperson of the EDCNS. Additionally, the board welcomes three new members: Nicole French, David Potter, and Marcia Woods.
Cathryn brings a wealth of experience in strategic marketing and community development, crucial for her role in driving the Innovation Hub’s initiatives. Her appointment underscores EDCNS’s commitment to enhancing local business growth, attracting new investments, and fostering a robust economic environment in North Simcoe.
Paul Marchildon, the new Chairperson, and Ron Neumann, now Vice Chair, have been spearheading the development of a local Innovation Hub since joining the board in 2022. New board members Nicole French, David Potter, and Marcia Woods, will bring fresh perspectives and expertise to the organization. Long time board members Mark Losch and Adrian Sauvageot will step down from their executive roles and continue as board members. Their collective experience will be invaluable in steering the strategic direction of EDCNS and ensuring the success of its initiatives.
