A 202-unit residential subdivision proposed for a chunk of land off King Street could be expanding to include 270 homes.

The Town of Midland recently received a revised draft plan for a subdivision proposed for a 23.7-acre lot which runs between King Street and William Street, parallel with Christine Drive.

An initial draft plan, submitted by Pratt Development Inc. in 2009, called for a 202-unit residential subdivision with 111 single-detached homes and 91 townhomes.

The plan was granted extensions by the town in 2012, 2015 and 2018. The latest extension gives the developer until April 27, 2021, to begin work on the project. []
